The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit against 11 METU students on March 19, 2025, for participating in protests following the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu. The students will be tried on charges of “participating in an unlawful assembly and march and failing to disperse despite warnings.”
