The Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation on March 1, 2026, due to a broadcast made from the vicinity of Incirlik Air Base. As part of the investigation, three people were detained, and a detention order was also issued for Kenan Şener, the Editor-in-Chief of ANKA News Agency. The prosecutor’s office stated that sharing images related to military facilities posed a risk to national security.
