Access to 39 social media accounts belonging to 32 Kurdish publishers reporting on HTŞ’s attacks on Rojava has been blocked. It was reported that 23 of the blocked accounts belonged to journalists, while 16 belonged to agencies, newspapers, and television stations. It was stated that the ban, implemented on X, Instagram, and YouTube platforms, was imposed on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order.” It was reported that the total number of followers of the blocked accounts reached 640,000, and the total number of views of their posts reached 232 million.
