The lawsuit filed by Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu against the revocation of his university diploma was unanimously rejected by the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court. The case was heard on January 15, and it was announced that the decision would be announced through the file. Before the court’s decision, the panel and the president’s place of duty had been changed. Following the decision, CHP executives reacted, stating that the decision was made for political reasons and constituted an interference with the right to vote and be elected.
