Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau detained 18 TAYAD members as part of an investigation. DEM Party MP Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu shared footage of 75-year-old Fahrettin Keskin being beaten during the detention. It was reported that the operation was organized at 05.25 in the morning, the doors were broken with a battering ram, and although there was no resistance, beatings and ill-treatment were applied. The People’s Law Office shared the names of those detained with the public. Gergerlioğlu stated that the incident was unlawful and emphasized that it was unacceptable for an elderly person to be beaten and detained.
