The summary judgement of the lawsuit filed against Turkish Medical Association (TTB) 2016-2018 Central Council members, who stated, “War Is a Matter of Public Health” in regards to the Afrin Operation, was held at Ankara 32nd Assize Court. The court sentenced ten executives to 1 year and eight months of imprisonment each and Hande Arpat to 3 years, 3 months and 22 days of imprisonment; all due to “public incitement towards resentment and hostility” and “making illegal organization propaganda.”
