Six lawyers, who faced lawsuits for singing Kurdish anthems and chanting slogans in Kurdish, were acquitted in the lawsuit filed against them due to the press statement they held in Taksim, Istanbul on September 15, 2015, to end the conflicts that started again in Kurdish provinces after the resolution process was over. Within the scope of the case at the Istanbul 36th Assize Court, the lawyers were charged with “making propaganda for a terrorist organization” and “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations”.
