British Federation of Alevi Associations former chairman Israfil Erbil, who was detained after the Maraş Massacre commemoration he attended last year, was also detained after attending the commemoration this year. Erbil was charged with insulting the prosecutor, who filed a lawsuit against him because of his speeches about not allowing and banning commemorations for those who lost their lives in the Maraş Massacre, was released after testifying.
