The proceeding of the lawsuit filed against former Editor-in-Chief of Ileri Haber, Doğan Ergün, and the then-Managing Director, Izel Sezer, started at the Istanbul 33rd Criminal Court of First Instance on charges of “successive insult” and “slander,” due to covering and reporting the tweets about President Erdoğan’s former lawyer Mustafa Doğan İnal making bribery bargains. The second hearing of the case was scheduled for March 10.
