The police attacked the university students, who wanted to organize a forum about the economic crisis in the country and the housing problem of the students at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University. 25 students were beaten and detained, and the campus was surrounded by the police. Accusations were brought against the students, such as “disrupting education by singing the Property Anthem” while they were in custody.
