The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against 51 students, who were detained inside the campus and were released with judicial measures after the protest of Boğaziçi students against the trustee rector, was held at the Istanbul 49th Criminal Court of First Instance. The court board gave up on removing the members of the press from the hearing room after the reactions and objections. Those taking place in the file as “complainants” stated that they were not “complaining”. The case was adjourned to November 29.
