26 people were detained in the Istanbul-based police operation against the members of the Democratic Islam Congress (DIK) and the Religious Scholars Association (DIAY-DER). 9 of those arrested were released at the Criminal Judicature of Peace they were taken to, based on “praying and sermoning in Kurdish and not reading the sermons of the Directorate of Religious Affairs.”
