Van Governorate extended the protest and demonstration ban, which has been ongoing in the province since 2016, for another 15 days. The ban applied in the province for more than 1670 days was based on the protection of “national security.” On the other hand, the protest ban applied in Hakkari for many months due to various reasons was extended by the Governorate until June 30.
