As the resistance of the citizens continue against the construction of a stone quarry in İşkencedere Valley of İkizdere, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu targeted the resistance and said, “The game played in İkizdere district of Rize is not just about the stone quarry or environmental sensitivity. Their problem, as always, is the development of this country.” Karaismailoğlu further described the resistance as a provocation.
