The application made by Istanbul University students for the Faculty of Political Sciences in order to establish a Women’s Studies Club was denied. In the denial, it was claimed that the purpose of “tracking studies on the development of gender equality in all areas of society and creating an awareness among university students on the matter” is already being fulfilled by another club.
