The police attacked People’s Democratic Party (HDP) members, who wanted to hold a statement in front of Istanbul Provincial building on the “Kobani Case,” in which 108 People’s Democratic Party (HDP) politicians are on trial – including former Co-Chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ. The street was initially blocked before the statement to be held in front of the party building, afterwards, the party building’s door was locked by the police and no one was let out. Many people, including Mesopotamia Agency reporter Enes Sezgin and Artı TV cameraman Bilal Meyveci, were beaten and detained.
