Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation against the “retired admirals petition” signed by 104 admirals. 10 signatory admirals were detained and four were summoned to testify due to their old age.
The petition was launched on Saturday with the signatures of 104 retired admirals, criticising the debates on the withdrawal from the Montreux Convention after the execution of Canal Istanbul and the withdrawal from Istanbul Convention through Presidential decrees.
