Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has prepared a summary against nine People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Parliament members within the Kobani investigation. Among those nine Parliament members, Garo Paylan was charged due to calling former People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, “Dear Demirtaş” for courtesy. Paylan was charged due to “praising the crime and the criminal”, with the charge based on his social media posts on the Gezi Park protests, the Boğaziçi University protests and on Osman Kavala as well.
Here are the other names facing summaries within the Kobani investigation: HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan, Group Deputy Chairs Meral Danış Beştaş, Hakkı Saruhan Oluç and Parliament Members Fatma Kurtulan, Garo Paylan, Hüda Kaya, Serpil Kemalbay Pekgözegü, Sezai Temelli and Pero Dündar.
