Journalist Burcu Özkaya was sentenced to 1 year and three months of imprisonment due to “making illegal organization propaganda” in the lawsuit filed against her due to her social media posts on the Peace Spring Operation against Syria. Hatay 2nd Assize Court deferred the announcement of the verdict.
