Istanbul Governorate banned all protests and demonstrations, which criticise military operations in Syria, demanding an end for the operations. The ban will continue until March 10 due to “protection of public order.” In the related statement, the Governorate claimed that saying “no to war” will cause public indignation and threaten domestic peace, as well as that it is against national values.
