The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against Özgür Gelecek Daily reporter Taylan Öztaş and 22 women was held at Istanbul 17th Criminal Court of First Instance due to “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911” through protesting the trustees assigned at People’s Democratic Party (HDP) municipalities. The second hearing was scheduled for March 18, 2020.
