Beyoğlu District Governorate banned the march organised in Taksim for November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Istanbul November 25 Women’s Platform repeated their call for demonstration by launching a statement after the ban. Following negotiations made by the platform, the ban was removed.
