Stage actor Orhan Aydın was sentenced to 11 months and 20 days of imprisonment due to “insulting the President” through the speech he gave during the Sivas Massacre commemoration organised in 2017. The imprisonment sentence issued against the actor was not deferred. “None of the bloodshed will remain unaccounted for. Let that fake dictator, who claims to be governing this country, and his team hear this,” Aydın had stated in the commemoration organized by Kuşadası Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Cultural Association.
