Muş Governorate announced that all press statements, meetings and demonstrations were banned in the province between the dates September 20 – October 4, 2019. In the announcement made on the official website of the Governorate, the decision was based on “the protection of public order, prevention of crimes, protection of basic rights and freedoms as well as general safety, prevention of violent incidents and disrupting plans of terrorist organisations.”
