Bolu Type-F Prison administration banned the book “Fugitive Writings”, which consists of sealed letters of imprisoned writers and poets, as “seen”. While the book was not given to one of its authors, Erol Zavar, on the grounds that “it would endanger the security of the institution”, the appeal against this application was rejected by the execution judge, who claimed that the book was in fact “illegal”. Zavar’s appeal was also rejected by the execution judge, which already deemed the legal book ‘illegal’.
