Following the access ban brought on the news article, “Tender Party,” published on the 10 April 2017 issue of Cumhuriyet Daily, the news reporting the access ban on the news were banned to access by Küçükçekmece 2nd Criminal Judicature of Peace as well. The news contained the information that three names in executive positions in Justice and Development Party (AKP)’s Istanbul Provincial administrations having received 126 tenders within the last five years from public institutions and municipalities, and that the total worth of these tenders exceeded 145 million TL.
