Idris Sayılğan, one of the four journalists who were detained with the allegation of “recording visuals in a restricted area” during their news information tracking in border province Edirne during the developments in the region after Turkey’s message that it will not prevent refugees from migrating into Europe, was arrested. Naci Kaya, who was sent to the court by the Prosecutor’s Office with a claim for him to be arrested, was released by the judiciary. However, Kaya is still kept under detainment. Two Rudaw-employee journalists were released.
