The Constitutional Court found the one-day ad ban issued by the Press-Ad Institute against Açık Mert Korkusuz Daily against the Constitution. The ad ban had been issued due to the news article on former Interior Minister Efkan Ala residing in the ministry housing after his resignation from the position, which was published in the newspaper on August 3, 2015.
