AKP lost its parliamentary majority at the June 7th 2015 general elections. The balances in the Parliament had totally changed when HDP surpassed the %10 threshold and had 80 MPs in the parliament. However Erdoğan was not happy with the election results. He hindered the attempts to establish a governmental administration, and in the end he forced re-elections.
