Actress Ezgi Mola, who was on trial for tweeting about expert sergeant Musa Orhan after he became a defendant for raping İpek Er in Batman and causing her suicide, was sentenced to a judicial fine of 5 thousand 200 liras (corresponding to 65 days in prison). The announcement of the verdict in the sentence of Mola was deferred, after she was convicted on the grounds of insulting the rape suspect in the case, which was held at the Ankara 31st Criminal Court of First Instance without a hearing on the basis of the file.
