The police intervened against the protest of the women, who gathered to protest the recent killings of Azra Gülendam Haytaoğlu and Emine Gökkız following the call of Istanbul Convention Ankara Campaign Group. The women said, “We do not give up on the Istanbul Convention” and “We demand the execution of Law No. 6284.” The police took the women under blockade with barricades and detained 11 women with physical violence.
