A lawsuit was filed against Ankara Bar Association lawyer Neslihan Ceylan at Ankara 45th Criminal Court of First Instance due to “insulting a public officer.” In his tweet subject to the lawsuit, Ceylan has shared the announcement of Republican People’s Party (CHP) Group Deputy Chairman Özgür Özel on Fahrettin Altun receiving five salaries every month, with the comment, “Eat all you can, I hope the rights of millions of poor people will choke you.”
