The public concert organized by Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Adana Provincial Organization with artists from Mesopotamia Cultural Center (MKM) was not permitted by Adana Governorate due to “public security.”
DBP Adana Provincial Organization and and artists from MKM, which was previously shut down with an emergency decree, wanted to organize a concert on December 16 at Adana Yaşar Kemal Cultural Center. The public concert, organized with the participation of artists Serhat Çarnewa, Pınar Aydınlar and Kadir Çat, was not permitted by Adana Governorate due to “public order and security as well as safety of life and property.” DBP Adana Provincial Organization and artists from MKM then organized a press statement at People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Seyhan District Organization against the lack of permission.
